If you have already explored Nice and Cannes and
love the French Riviera, why not discover further holiday
destinations on the ever beautiful Cote d'Azur that spans from
the pretty town of Menton close to the Italian border in the
east, to the sea port of Toulon in the west. Almost all of the
destinations below are served by the Marseille to Ventimiglia
railway line with the exception of Saint Tropez and Sainte Maxime
where bus travel or car hire will be necessary.
Many visitors to the French Riviera arrive at Nice Cote d'Azur
International Airport, St Augustin railway station is a fifteen
minute walk from the airport, but this is not recommended if you
are carrying heavy luggage or it is dark due to crime issues. The
best option is to take the airport bus to Gare Nice Ville railway
station if traveling east towards Monaco and Menton or the bus
towards Cannes if traveling west and transfer to the railway
depending on your final destination. If your flight arrives late
in the evening or departs early in the morning consider staying
one night at either the Suitehotel
Nice Aeroport or the Hotel
Campanile Nice Airport , both are only a few minutes from the
airport terminal.

Mandelieu-La-Napoule
Menton The last town on the Cote d'Azur before the
Italian border and the market town Ventimiglia. Due to it's
microclimate, sunny days and blue skies prevail on average over
300 days per year. Menton is a relaxing place to stay, visitors
like to stroll around the pedestrianised flower decked streets
shopping for souvenirs or enjoying the many restaurants and cafes
on offer. The Festival of the Lemons is held each year in
February in the Jardin Bloves, where fantastic themed displays
are created from thousands of Oranges and Lemons, not to be
missed. Three star hotels on offer include Hotel Club Vacanciel
Menton at 15 Rue Partouneaux and Maeva Residence Les Citronniers
Menton at 17 rue Patourneaux.

the tricky street circuit. Fairmont Hotel Monte Carlo located at

Nice Capital city of the Cote d'Azur, because of
the International Airport, Nice is the city that many travelers
explore first. The initial impressions of Nice are made on the
journey from the Airport, past the palm trees at Parc Phoenix,
along the fabulous Sea Front Promenade Des Anglais to the city
centre. Place Massena was pedestrianised with the introduction of
the new Nice Tramway system and is a great place to browse the
shops or enjoy a quality Coffee at Boutique Nespresso located at
1 Place Massena. Notable five star hotels in Nice include the
Promenade
des Anglais positioned Hotels Negresco and Palais De La
Mediterranee.
Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

Saint Tropez A magnet for film stars and the
very wealthy, arty Saint Tropez is jam packed in the summertime
with holidaymakers and visiting yachts. Our favorite place to
stay is Hotel SEZZ at Route des Salins Saint Tropez which is five

Toulon One of the sunniest places in France,
Toulon lies at the very western end of the Cote d'Azur. Plenty of
museums to visit including the French Navy, Natural History and
various art museums. Popular hotels include Kyriad Prestige
Toulon at Port De La Seyne Sur Mer, which provides good value 4
star accommodation in ninety three non smoking bedrooms.
